Clients behaving badly.
What are your stories of poorly behaving clients, and how does it affect your ability to do good work?
Much of my work over the last decade has been two-sided.
Facing towards freelancers to understand and support their needs
Facing towards clients to say: hey, your behaviours need to improve
I’ll admit, I’ve not had much success on the second front. Most clients don’t really care that much about the mental health of freelancers, but they do care about the bottom line.
Any our research already shows that not supporting freelancers = poorer quality of work, so I’m digging deeper into this, and need your help.
I'm running a small research dip into clients behaving badly, would love your stories...
It is completely anonymous, and results will be shared here on Leapers and freelancing.support when I've aggregated results.
The goal here is to
identifying the most common challenges/bad behaviours
quantifying the commercial impact of poor behaviours
making tangible recommendations of what clients can do better
Please help out.
